2) Maintain appropriate spraying distance and angle:

Too much distance between the spray gun and the workpiece will weaken the electrostatic adsorption force, causing powder waste; too close a distance can easily cause electrostatic breakdown (sparking), resulting in "static flower" marks or orange peel wrinkles on the coating.

3) Ensure proper grounding:

The equipment must have reliable grounding. Smoking or generating sparks is strictly prohibited in the spray booth to prevent dust explosions and electric shock risks.

When purchasing the enamel coating gun, one should not only focus on price but also comprehensively evaluate technical performance and after-sales service:

1) Assess the coating capability for complex workpieces:

Do not blindly trust parameter labels (such as only looking at static voltage values).

Request the manufacturer to conduct sample spraying tests. Focus on the spray gun's ability to cover complex areas such as workpiece grooves, corners, and bent edges. A high pass rate is essential to avoid a surge in defect rates due to uncovered corners, powder buildup, etc.

2) Focus on core performance indicators:

Pay close attention to powder application rate (high application rate saves powder costs and reduces the burden on the recovery system) and coating uniformity (which determines the final product's appearance and protective performance).

3) Assess equipment stability and after-sales service:

Prioritize manufacturers with years of industry experience and independent R&D capabilities (such as patented technology). Understand the replacement costs and ease of use of vulnerable parts (such as electrode needles and nozzles), and confirm the supplier's ability to provide rapid technical support; this is crucial for ensuring continuous production.
