One of the misunderstandings: the higher the calibration voltage of the powder coating gun, the better the powdering performance.
Reason for error:
1. In powder electrostatic spraying, when the charging voltage exceeds a certain value, if it continues to increase, the adsorption amount of powder on the workpiece will decrease (the critical thickness will decrease).
2. Excessive electrostatic voltage will cause high-voltage ignition, which will not only leave pinholes on the surface of the workpiece, but also make the operator feel very uncomfortable, and it will indeed increase the possibility of powder being ignited.
3. Some non-standard small factories, in order to deceive customers, often claim that the electrostatic voltage of their spray guns exceeds 100KV, and even dare to say 200KV. Users do not have high-voltage equipment in their hands, so they cannot verify the correctness of the voltage claimed by the manufacturer ( There are many small factories that do not even have electrostatic voltage testing methods).
High-performance electrostatic powder coating guns should be able to quickly and automatically adjust the output electrostatic voltage and current when spraying, which can not only ensure high-quality spraying, but also automatically suppress high-voltage ignition.
